The Green Man located on the Kata road heading from Chalong Circle, is a favorite amongst the local English looking for a taste of home. It is the only Tudor style English pub in Phuket Island and it lives up to it’s design. They serve up all of your favorite English pub grub including Fish and Chips, Steak and Mushroom Pie and Clam Chowder. Check out their chalk board for a list of the daily specials.

The main area of the Green Man is the lounge area which is designed like a pub back in the United Kingdom. There are wooden tables and benches as well as a large bar area. It is a perfect place to grab a bite to eat or to throw back a few drinks while watching the latest sporting event on the big screen TV. There is also a sport lounge for those looking to enjoy a sporting match in relative peace. The Green Man is family friendly and features a children’s play area outside the main lounge.

If you are looking for a change of pace from the typical south Phuket bars, or just want a bit of comfort food, The Green Man in Chalong Bay is a great place. The prices are a bit higher then in other nearby western bars/restaurants, but the atmosphere is unique to The Green Man.
