Reggae Bar

Venue Type: Beer Bar
Open Until 2:00am Daily

The Reggae Bar is located directly across from the Nai Harn Lake and is a great place to grab a beer. There are no girls working at the bar, so it is a good place to get away from all the attention that is typical in most bars. Everyone working at the Reggae Bar is a rasta, pretty much a Thai Bob Marley, so they are pretty laid back.

A few times each year they will throw a big music show that is free to watch, but you need to pay for the barbecue. Typically, it will be a few local Reggae bands, but a few times Job2Do (a famous Thai Reggae Band) has played there. On these nights the place can get pretty packed full of people.

They also throw various parties throughout the year. Whether it is a Reggae show, or to celebrate the full moon. Just be aware that on these nights the drink prices can be higher then usual. Despite that fact, it is a great atmosphere and worthy of a look.
