Rayee Beach

Among the other Phuket beaches along the North-Western coast, Rayee Beach is one of the least spectacular of them all. The best part of the beach are the views of Kamala, Laem Sing and Surin Beaches, but even they cannot save this place.

The sand is rocky, making it difficult and sometimes painful to walk on. The seabed is rocky and the water level is very low. There is no swimming or snorkeling here. There are no sun loungers, why would you need them? There is a restaurant called the White Orchid which is a decent place to grab a bite and experience the views if you absolutely must.

Rayee Beach is one of those beaches that you should definitely pass on. It is very unspectacular in just about every possible way. The only saving grace is the view of the other much nicer beaches. Sitting at the restaurant gazing outward toward Kamala, Laem Sing and Surin you may be wondering, why am I not sitting at one of those beaches?

Beach Activities

There are absolutely no activities at this beach. The water is too shallow even for snorkeling.

Getting There

Drive along the Kamala Beach road to the south. When you come to the end turn right. After about one kilometer you will arrive at Rayee Beach.
