Located in the center of Rawai, L’Orfeo Restaurant offers fine French dining in a beautifully decorated setting. The entire restaurant is draped in satin and silk. There are tasteful art pieces and decorative vases strategically placed throughout. L’Orfeo is much pricier then almost all of the surrounding restaurants, but you are paying for the atmosphere more then anything.

There is a modest wine list that offers a fairly diverse selection all at reasonable prices. The food is mostly French and is always prepared with freshest local ingredients. Each dish is a work of art in itself, but anything less would be a huge letdown considering the restaurant’s decor.

For the budget traveler, L’Orfeo is not worth the money, but for those hoping to partake in some upmarket cuisine, it may be a good choice. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, the staff are friendly and attentive. Stop in for dinner at L’Orfeo and enjoy a dining experience unlike any other in Rawai.
