Freedom Bar in Rawai is located at far end of south Phuket. Sitting adjacent to Nikita’s on the beach road and only a stones throw away from that unimpressive Phuket beach, Rawai. For years, it has been a get together for local expats and tourists alike looking for a good time out and maybe catch a football match or two.

In recent times Freedom Bar has developed a bit of a reputation with the locals. If you plan on hitting up this establishment, it is recommended that you pay by the drink and don’t run up a bin. A day doesn’t go by where someone isn’t complaining about drinks being added to their bill.

Overall, Freedom Bar isn’t a bad place to spend an evening as long as you know the pay as you go rule. It is a good place to meet the locals and an increasing number of local Muay Thai students.
