In order to keep some sort of order to this website, it is important to have some rules in regards to commenting. This is to minimize spam comment as well as promote high quality discussion that will benefit the readers. The rules below can be changed at any time at the discretion of the owners of this website without any prior notice.
Add Something Meaningful
If your comment doesn’t really add something to the conversation, or it appears spammy, then it will not be accepted. Single line or generic posts are indicators of automated commenting software and will never be accepted. Basically, if you have something to add to or a question about the topic at hand, your comment will probably be accepted. Unless of course it breaks the next rule.
No Negative Commentary
If you don’t have something nice to say about a place, just don’t make a comment at all. This may sound contradictory to the purpose of this website, but there are two reasons for this.
1) Due to the strict anti-defamation laws in the country of Thailand, this website and those who run it could run into legal issues should someone complain about any negative content posted on this site. It doesn’t matter if that content is 100% true or not.
2) There are a lot of competing businesses on the island. It would be quite easy for a single person to leave multiple negative comments on a given business in order to hurt the reputation of said establishment.
If you feel that we have made a grave error in including a certain business on this site, your best bet is to contact us directly.
